Filler
In our in-house logistics, we do not use plastic or styrofoam chips as filling material. Our chips are made from 100% biodegradable and environmentally friendly corn starch. These can simply be disposed of in the organic waste bin or on the compost heap. Please note that items may be sent directly from suppliers or manufacturers, we have no control over their packaging materials.

Electrical and electronic equipment
The Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) contains a large number of requirements for the handling of electrical and electronic equipment. The most important ones are compiled here.1. separate collection of old appliancesElectrical and electronic equipment that has become waste is called waste equipment. Owners of waste equipment must dispose of it separately from unsorted municipal waste. Disposal of batteries & rechargeable batteries

. As a dealer, we are legally obliged to take back batteries and rechargeable batteries purchased from us free of charge. Please accept this offer and help to keep our environment clean.Your obligation to return as a consumer
. The Battery Act obliges all citizens to dispose of used and spent batteries and accumulators of all kinds exclusively via the trade or the collection points set up specifically for this purpose, e.g. at recycling centres. Disposal via household waste is strictly prohibited.Return points
. You can drop off batteries and accumulators at public collection points in your community and wherever batteries and accumulators are sold. You also have the option of dropping them off at our headquarters in Nuremberg.Disposal is free of charge

Disposal is free of charge to you, even at points of sale where you did not purchase the batteries and accumulators.Batteries/battery packs containing harmful substances are marked with the adjacent symbol, which indicates that they must not be disposed of with household waste. The following chemical symbols indicate the heavy metals contained:

Disposal of damaged or broken gas discharge lamps.
Fluorescent lamps contain small amounts of mercury. To minimize your exposure to mercury in the event of damage to the glass body, please follow these rules:
- Pick up fragments carefully with a dampened paper towel, watching for sharp-edged glass shards .
- Do not use a vacuum cleaner, this could disperse gases into the room .
- Pack the broken pieces in an airtight plastic bag or canning jar and dispose of them at your local recycling center.
- Avoid skin contact and then ventilate the room for at least 20 to 30 minutes .
