Description

The R1 - 1000 has 28 1 W resistors connected in series, which can be activated individually with sliding switches. The stepping of the resistance values in 1 - 2 -3 - 4 levels allows for a gapless adjustment of the resistance value in 7 decades (1 Ω to 11,11111 MΩ). The adjustment of, e.g, 156 kΩ is done by selecting the following switches: 100 k, 40 kΩ + 10 k, 4 kΩ + 2 k ohms. The connection is made over 4 mm safety sockets.
