Description
The high-precision luminance meter for surface-mounted measurement is classified in Class B according to DIN 5032-7, IEC 13032-1 Annex B and CIE 69. It measures the brightness effect of a luminous surface in candela per square metre (cd(m²) or footLampert (fL)). The excellent adaptation to the spectral brightness sensation of the human eye V(λ) with the small deviation of f1' < 3 % is clearly better than the requirement from the standard. Pressing the HOLD button saves the value, activates the existing display illumination and allows the reading in a dark environment. The adapter disk included in the scope of delivery protects against sideways incident light during the measurement and the velvety coating prevents scratches on the self-illuminating or radiated surface. In industry, trade and service, the luminance of monitors of all types, television screens, light boxes, light pans, illuminated advertising surfaces, traffic signs and matt screens can be measured.
