Description

Demonstration case for practical application and training of VDE 0100 installation testers. The demonstration case simulates an electrical system that is usually found in detached houses or apartments. With the help of the demonstration case, the basic functionality of the BENNING test, measuring and safety devices, in particular the VDE 0100 test devices, can be explained. Different safety tests and measurements can be simulated on an electrical system. Acceptable or unacceptable parameters can be preset by five "error switches". Some real elements of the electrical system are located on the front, e.g. residual current device, on/off switch with lamp, socket outlet with earthing contact and connection terminals. Other elements are improvised.

Realistic representation of a low voltage installation of a single family house (TN/ TT system) - Real components such as earth leakage circuit breaker, earth contact socket, on/off switch with light and current measuring loop of a boiler - Simulated components with connection terminals for equipotential bonding rail, earth electrode, water lines and lightning conductor - Fault simulation adjustable via 5 toggle switches - Measurement of protective conductor (RPE), Insulation resistance (RISO), loop (ZL-PE) and line impedance (ZL-N) - Test of a RCD (tripping time, tripping current, touch voltage) - Ground resistance measurement with different measuring methods - Voltage, current, frequency measurement and single-pole phase test - Robust and dust-tight housing design.
