Description

The Web-Server2 starter set contains the optimal components for the data visualization in the local Intranet as well as in the everywhere available Internet. The perfectly coordinated combination of hardware (FP Web-Server2 with expansion card) and software (FP Web-Designer, FP Web-Configurator) opens up new possibilities for the visualization of automation systems such as heating systems or door controls.

After creating an automation task with Panasonic programmable logic controllers, it only takes a few steps to connect the controller to the Intranet/Internet and visualize important operating data such as meter readings and consumption data such as gas and energy consumption. Simply assign an IP address to the FP Web-Server 2 and connect the PLC to the FP Web-Server 2 via the serial interface. The visualization can be done either on the PC with a standard browser such as MS Internet Explorer or Firefox or via iPhone and iPad using a microbrowser.

With the easy-to-use FP Web Configurator software, the FP Web Server module is both parameterized and the HTML pages loaded into the system. The web pages can be created with standard tools such as Frontpage, Word or text-oriented HTML editors - or even better with the new FP Web Designer from Panasonic Electric Works.

The FP Web Designer is ideal for creating web pages for the FP Web Server. With just a few mouse clicks, process images can be easily generated, e.g. to visualise the load profiles of a heating system or to be automatically notified of the next maintenance interval by e-mail. No knowledge of programming languages such as HTML, PHP, Javascript or Java is required to create the visualization.
