Description

Plustek OpticFilm 8200i SE - the successor to OpticFilm 7600i SE - is particularly impressive thanks to its hardware improvements and optimised adaptation to SilverFast® 8 software. With a resolution of 7200 dpi, the film and slide scanner is ideal for highly detailed scanning. The built-in infrared channel detects dust and scratches on the surfaces of original slide and negatives. This allows the user to remove damage from the templates without extensive retouching.
OpticFilm 8200i SE and SilverFast software are a perfect hardware and software combination. Image processing is especially easy thanks to the intelligent automatic functions of the SilverFast software, which makes excellent scan results possible. The dynamic range is extended thanks to SilverFast Multi-Exposure®. This eliminates noise and improves visibility of details in dark areas. SilverFast iSRD® uses the device's built-in infrared channel to remove dust and scratches from the template surface. With SilverFast SCC®, colours can be changed at the push of a button.
OpticFilm 8200i SE is bundled with the latest version of Lasersoft Imaging - the professional image processing software SilverFast 8. The WorkflowPilot® guides the user step by step through the scanning process. Thanks to the clear user interface and the real-time preview, corrections and changes can be displayed directly on the screen. SilverFast 8 can multitask and supports 64-bit.
