The prevention of whirling scratches is one of the greatest challenges in today's delicate clearcoat coatings. Grit Guard® helps prevent the formation of whirling scratches during vehicle washing, which can be caused by sand and small dirt particles. Each time you pick up a wash lotion, wipe your wash glove off the Grit Guard® bucket insert to remove dirt particles from the wash glove and transport them to the bottom of the bucket. The specially shaped lamellas of the Grit Guard® prevent the dirt particles from being whirled up and reabsorbed.
