For the improvement of reception in areas with weak net cover. Fasten the station antenna by means of optional wall holder simply to an outside wall of your house or on the building roof to the existing antenna tower. It is suitable for D networks, E networks, UMTS networks and the Telekom LTE city network (LTE 1800 MHz) and can be mounted both horizontally and vertically.
Since LTE uses MIMO (2x RX, 2x TX) technology, most well-known and already on the market LTE routers (e.g. Huawaii, Speedport, FritzBox) are equipped with 2 external antenna connections. In order to use the optimal data rate of the LTE network you should always use 2 external antennas of the same type and mount them vertical on a horizontal level parallel at a distance of min. 20 cm. Please note: To ensure optimum reception when used with an LTE router or LTE hotspot, two adapters from FME to TS-9, CRC-9 or SMA should be used (MIMO).
When operating the Set´s on the AVM Fritzbox 6842, a coupling module (DC isolator) is required in each antenna line.
The Fritzbox 6842 does not have an antenna switch, so it cannot cope with the connected log/per antennas LAT 54 (with "ohmic short-circuit"). You need a DC separator for each antenna
