The MXS 5.0 has automatic temperature compensation to achieve the best charging performance even under extreme conditions.

The MXS 5.0 is a sophisticated microprocessor-controlled battery charger that offers unrivaled performance when charging lead-acid batteries between 1.2 and 110 Ah. It has an integrated automatic temperature compensation, in order to achieve the best charging power even under the most extreme conditions. The MXS 5.0 also has a battery diagnostic that determines whether the battery can accept and hold a charge, a patented automatic desulfation program, an AGM option to maximize the life of most start/stop batteries, and a special recondition mode for reconditioning deep batteries. The patented float/pulse system from CTEK is used in MXS 5.0. This is the most efficient trickle charging mode when a battery is left connected to the charger for a long time.
