An economical solution to extend the wireless or wired Vantage Pro 2 or Pro 2 Plus units with the benefits of active ventilation. Requires only half the cost of daytime radiation energy utilization, but has nearly 75% of the effectiveness of Davis Instruments' 24-hour actively ventilated radiation shield. The solar-powered fan runs during the day. Since there is no battery to support it, the fan will stop during the night when the radiation effects are lower. The kit contains a fan, the solar panel, additional irradiation protection plates and mounting material as shown in the picture.
