With the LogiLink docking station you can connect up to two 6.4 cm (2.5") and 8.9 cm (3.5") SATA hard disks to your computer without using a PC or external hard disk casing. Use an USB 3.0 cable (included) to connect the disk to the dock. The LED lights indicate power supply and data transfer rate. Press EJECT to disconnect and remove the hard disk drive. If you connect two hard disk drives the duplication process doesn't require a PC.
Duplicating Beats Re-Installing
The service life of an HDD is limited. Your HDD getting noisy may be one indicator that your HDD is past it. If this happens, duplicating the entire HDD onto a new hard drive instead of painstakingly re-installing OS and each and every piece of software may be a much more straightforward option.
Safe data backups
Use the dock to backup your data on external drives. Nothing beats data securly locked away in strong boxes, safes, or vaults.
Upgrading to Fast SSD Made Easy
Duplicate the data on your old SATA hard drive on the SSD. This enables quick and reliable booting via SSD. Keep in mind that boot-enabled SSDs need to be properly set up first to prevent long-term performance issues.Characteristics
