Description
The CESYS USB-insulator separates the direct electrical connection between the computer and the connected USB device. All signals are galvanically separated from the USB cable: earth, 5 volt, data lines and shield. This provides the USB ISOLATOR depending on the application for a crystal-clear sound, accurate measurements and the protection of the host computer against cross-currents and voltages. The most common cause of interference, malfunctions due to over-voltage and inaccurate measurements will be eliminated. The CESYS USB ISOLATOR is built like a isolating transformer or opto-coupler. It is therefore almost like a USB-cable. No drivers should be installed and it supports all operating systems (MAC®, Windows®, Linux®, embedded OS and others). A power supply is not required as the power supply is supplied via USB.
