Description

The TL-WA860RE WLAN repeater from TP-LINK was developed to create an extended WLAN with wider coverage and greater range. It offers the repeater mode as standard WLAN mode, and acts as a "relay station" to receive WLAN signals from a basic router or from an access point of a network and then enlarge the signal perfectly into previously unreachable or difficult to wire up areas. With its LAN port it is able to serve network devices as WLAN adapter.


WLAN extension with 300Mbit/s
The TL-WA860RE was developed to improve the coverage and strength of existing WLANs and to eliminate "dead zones". With data rates of up to 300 Mbps according to IEEE802.11n, it is the ideal device for fluid HD video streaming, online gaming and VoIP.


Flexible placement
The small housing for practical mounting at the power outlet allows simple and flexible installation. Furthermore, the TL-WA850RE remembers previously configured WLANs, so that you can easily switch between different already programmed wireless networks without changing anything.


Integrated front socket for connecting an additional device
The integrated front socket allows the TL-WA860RE to reconnect the device previously installed at the location. No slot is lost.


Plug & Play
The TL-WA860RE does not require any configuration. By pressing the WPS button on the AP/router followed by pressing the Range Extender button on the TL-WA860RE, you can establish a connection simply and easily.


Ethernet Bridge
The LAN port of the TL-WA860RE allows the repeater to function simultaneously as a WLAN adapter. This allows you to integrate wired network devices such as Blu-ray® players, game consoles, TVs, etc. into a WLAN. At the same time your WLAN will be enlarged as usual.


Signal strength display
The intelligent signal lights show the signal strength currently received by the TL-WA860RE, so that you can easily find the best operating location.
