Description

Universal plug-in power supply with integrated USB socket

The small GTM-41078-0605-USB is a class 2 device with interchangeable adapter system with 2 plug pins. The interchangeable country adapters are easily field replaceable and are available for North America, Japan, Europe, Great Britain, Australia and New Zealand, China, Korea, Argentina, India, Brazil and also as IEC320 adapters. The device has an input voltage range of 90-264 VAC. The output voltage is 5VDC with a maximum continuous output power of 6 Watt. This product meets the Energy Star requirements for North America, NRCAN for Canada, EuP and other international Level V energy efficiency requirements. The production facility is ISO13485 certified.

This model family has regulated output with very low ripple, built-in overcurrent, short circuit and thermal protection and also low leakage current and high efficiency. The product is therefore suitable for most applications that work with DC power. Common applications include medical devices, portable medical treatment and monitoring equipment and instruments, hospital equipment and power supplies for Li-Ion battery chargers.

Custom housing colors and shapes, output cable types and lengths and custom packaging are available on request. Resistant IP52 versions are available on request. According to BS EN 60529 and IEC 529, IP52 means that the medically approved (60601-1) power supply is protected against ingress of dust (no dangerous deposits) and also against direct spray water of up to 15° from the vertical. An IP52 test report and certificate are available on request.

The power supply also meets IEC 60950-1 2nd Edition or IEC 60601-1 3rd Edition requirements and is certified accordingly. In addition, UL (North America), C-Tick (Australia/New Zealand), Iram (Argentina), BSMI (Taiwan), CB (Worldwide), CCC (China), Demko (Europe), eK (Korea), NRCAN (Canada), Spring (Singapore), SIQ (Europe), Gost (Russia), and UkrSEPRO (Ukraine) have been approved. The device also meets Canadian Nrcan efficiency and FCC/VCC/CE EMC requirements.
