Description

The Eclipse 5145 is a powerful single line handheld laser scanner for all common barcode types. The compact housing and extensive programming and connection options make it the ideal all-round scanner for many typical barcode applications.


The reading distance and the scanning field of the Eclipse 5145 is significantly higher than with a CCD scanner due to the modern laser engine. Due to its high scanning rate it reads very aggressively and also high-resolution or very small barcodes without errors. It is therefore not only suitable for use at the cash register, but also for jewelry stores or for scanning the smallest electronic components or mechanical elements, for example. Its design and compact housing also allow it to be used in harsh environments: It can withstand repeated falls from a height of up to 1.5 m onto concrete without damage. Furthermore, its housing is sealed against the effects of air pollution, such as dust. The operating temperature of the Eclipse 5145 is between 0°C and 40°C, making it ideal for use in the entire cold chain of food logistics. With a weight of only 97 g, it is one of the lightweights among hand scanners and makes daily work much easier from an ergonomic point of view.

With the optional CodeGate function, the scanner initially stores the read data temporarily. Only when the user presses the CodeGate button is the data released and the information transferred to the PC. The button is ergonomically placed on the top of the case and is operated with the thumb. The CodeGate function is therefore particularly suitable for reading small barcodes or menu scanning and document capture.
The scope of delivery includes all the necessary accessories: The PowerLink cable is user-specific interchangeable. The supplied "Data Parsing" software allows you to process scanned information individually and integrate it professionally into any existing system.
