Description

Honeywell's Solaris 7820 is a compact vertical scanner that integrates easily into any environment and is characterized by aggressive scanning behavior. This omni-directional all-round scanner has enhanced depth of field, allowing intuitive scanning for all users. The front of the scanner consists of a flat surface, including the three capacity switches for standby mode, selection of the confirmation tone and its volume. This makes it easy to clean the scan window and frees it from moving parts, which increases the robustness of the scanner. The Solaris 7820 Multi Interface allows for easy connection to virtually any existing POS system, allowing easy integration of the scanner. This is further simplified by the possibility to control the power supply via the host - USB or serial. Another advantage of the Solaris 7820 is that the remote maintenance option can be performed centrally through software updates or configurations. The EAS deactivation antenna is integrated as standard, with which the scanner is compatible with both checkpoint and sensormatic systems. The Solaris also has an interface for connecting external devices, such as additional hand-held scanners or a scale. Optionally available are a wall mount, a stand and an additional pane that can be easily fitted to protect the scan window from scratches in the event of heavy use.
