Description

The Mobeye CM4300 WaterGuard is the effective instrument for leak monitoring and alarm signaling. If the leak sensor detects water-based liquids, the WaterGuard reacts via its integrated 4G LTE-M communication module with an alarm message (push message/SMS/call/email) to the set alarm receivers. The device is powered by batteries, which means that the compact product operates autonomously for over 12 months. Optionally, a 12-24V DC or AC power source can be connected to monitor the availability of the power supply. The additional two NO/NC inputs are used to connect external sensors (e.g. float sensor) or devices. This allows even more monitoring, such as overflow, water tanks, the operation of heaters, ventilation systems or various other electrical machines. Typical areas for monitoring by the WaterGuard are the absence or presence of water, e.g. in the basement, in drainage systems, for boats, archives, drainage systems, In commercial and industrial buildings, data centers, holiday homes, museums, art collections and warehouses.

For communication, the Mobeye (M2M) SIM card is included in the delivery of the product. This low-cost "multi-provider" SIM card ensures communication over the 4G LTE-M network (with 2G as fallback). This SIM card also offers the use of the Mobeye Internet Portal and app for more comfort and optimum security. The 4G LTE-M network is very reliable, has strong penetration and also offers low power consumption. The SIM card for the Mobeye CM4300 to be activated online costs 4.00 EUR per month. This is a fixed amount based on fair use.

Optionally, a separate (micro) SIM card can be used. The device then works (only) with 2G and without using the Mobeye portal. The alarm notifications are sent via SMS and telephone call (max.) 5 contacts sent. Programming is done via (simple) SMS commands.

The ambient temperature must not be exceeded or undercut during operation (not below -10 °C and not higher than 50 °C). The device must be protected against moisture, water spray and overheating. The device may only be operated with the batteries specified by the manufacturer. The device must be protected against strong vibrations and shocks. The device must not be installed and operated in the vicinity of flammable gases, vapors or dust.
The device may only be repaired by a Mobeye® expert.
