Description

The Mobeye WaterGuard-FS monitors the level of liquids in garden ponds, swimming pools, liquid barrels, overflows, tanks, Top-up container, waste water collection basin and locks. The device is also often used for monitoring water pumps. The float sensor is mounted in the horizontal position where the fluid level can rise or fall. It can be positioned or adjusted as an NC or NO contact. As soon as the float/level sensor detects minimum or maximum states, the communication module triggers alarms via push message/SMS/call/email. After a detection, the stored call numbers are notified. Different settings, such as the open/closed status of the inputs, alarm delays and user-defined alarm texts, etc., are easy to program. The device is powered by batteries, which means that the compact product operates autonomously for over 12 months. Optionally, you can also connect a 12V DC or AC power source that monitors the availability of the power supply. An external potential-free sensor can be connected to the float/level sensor at the additional NO/NC input, which can, for example, monitor a waste water pump or switch a relay.

For communication, the Mobeye (M2M) SIM card is included in the delivery of the product. This low-cost "multi-provider" SIM card ensures communication over the 4G LTE-M network (with 2G as fallback). This SIM card also offers the use of the Mobeye Internet Portal and app for more comfort and optimum security. The 4G LTE-M network is very reliable, has strong penetration and also offers low power consumption. The SIM card for the Mobeye CM4300FS to be activated online costs 4.00 EUR per month. This is a fixed amount based on fair use.

Optionally, a separate (micro) SIM card can be used. The device then works (only) with 2G and without using the Mobeye portal. The alarm notifications are sent via SMS and telephone call (max.) 5 contacts sent. Programming is done via (simple) SMS commands.

The ambient temperature must not be exceeded or undercut during operation (not below -10 °C and not higher than 50 °C). The device must be protected against moisture, water spray and overheating. The device may only be operated with the batteries specified by the manufacturer. The device must be protected against strong vibrations and shocks. The device must not be installed and operated in the vicinity of flammable gases, vapors or dust.
The device may only be repaired by a Mobeye® expert.
