Description
The 3M™ PELTOR™ X4 earbuds are our lightweight and slim ear protectors with innovative foam inserts in the ear cups. Spacers increase the insulation and protect against low frequencies. Available with headband, neck strap or helmet mounting. The design with head bracket has an electrically insulated double head bracket that reduces the build-up of heat on the head. Depending on the user's preferences or the application requirements, the helmet mounting versions are either electrically insulated or have robust metal arms.
Use the 3M™ PELTOR™ X4 Encapsulate Protector for powerful hearing protection against moderate to high noise levels. The 3M Peltor ear defenders X4 are color-coded in a bright light green, so that the correct protection level from the X-series is easy to select. Our ear protection combines the well-known experience of 3M in hearing protection products with advanced technology. It contains a specially designed spacer and an insulating cushion technology that improves noise insulation without excessive rigidity or weight. This means that the ear capsel hearing protector X4 is light and still streamlined as other ear defenders with high damping and at the same time reduces noise by up to 32 dB. The execution with head band has an electrically insulated design with double head brackets, which reduces the build-up of heat on the head. The plastic-coated stainless steel wire makes the headband the most robust 3M has to offer. It is both strong and comfortable, since the wide flat head bracket has a soft plastic coating which exerts a stable pressure on the head. No exposed metal means that the product is "dielectric" and provides electrical resistance for applications with a risk of sparks or charges. Carefully shaped valves ensure that the ear caps protection can be adjusted easily on the head. Wide, soft foam insulation cushions make employees feel comfortable, while the narrow capsules provide improved compatibility with other safety equipment. The design with helmet fixing is a product that meets the requirements and preferences of each individual user. It is available as P5 with the same dielectric power as the headband model. However, if the application does not require electrical insulation, the P3 model with helmet mounting and neck strap can also be used as an alternative. The pads and foam inserts are available in the form of hygiene kits that can be easily replaced if damaged or worn. This ensures a longer product life.
