Description

The Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess® Stellar AP1320 Access point (AP) for indoor use in the 802.11 ax series enables higher speeds, greater capacity, and efficient Airtime allocation for clients on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi bands. This allows access points to better serve higher density clients and provide more capacity for bandwidth-intensive and latency-sensitive voice and video clients. These features provide a reliable, secure network for IoT devices while increasing the life of these battery-powered devices. OmniAccess Stellar Wi-Fi delivers unmatched connectivity, coverage, and performance to today's IoT-connected businesses. The AP1320 series of high-performance models with 802.11 ax technology are designed to meet the heterogeneous, growing capacity needs of the next generation of mobility and IoT-enabled networks. The access points are operated with three built-in WLAN radio modules, two of which are 2.4 GHz/5 GHz band modules and serve very dense WLAN clients. The third module is a full-tape module designed specifically for scanning, providing highly predictable WIPS/WDS services that improve network security and WLAN quality. They also have a built-in Bluetooth/Zigbee radio module that enables location and building automation. The AP1320 series supports a maximum aggregate data rate of approximately 3 Gbps (2.4 Gbps for 5 GHz and 573 Mbps for 2.4 GHz). To support this increased capacity, the access point is operated via multi-gigabit Ethernet uplink. The OmniAccess Stellar AP1320 series supports all mandatory and multiple optional 802.11 ax features, including UL-DL-OFDMA with up to 37 Rus, UL-DL-MU-MIMO with up to four spatial streams, 1024-QAM modulation and more, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of tomorrow's versatile digital workspaces.
