The Nano Motor Carrier is the perfect add-on for the Nano 33 IoT Board, as it extends its functionality and supplies power.
The Nano Motor Carrier was developed to simplify the motor control. He takes care of the electronics required to control the motors, so students can focus on prototyping and developing their projects. Other actuators and sensors can also be connected via a series of 3-pole pin strips. The board has a 9-axis accelerometer, a gyroscope, and a magnetometer on the board. It contains a battery charger for single-cell Li-ion batteries and 2 connections for quadrature encoders.
To use the carrier, simply connect it to a Nano 33 board and connect the motors you need for your project. Once connected, connect the USB cable to the Nano 33 IoT. Download the Arduino Motor Carrier library from the Library Manager and you can start programming and controlling your motors with the help of the motor drivers.
If you are working with motors, you need an external power source to power the motor drivers and operate the motors. You can do this by connecting a 1-cell Li-Ion battery to the battery connector or using an external power source.
