The DBM module is ideal for providing additional backup time for loads connected to a 24Vdc AC DC power supply. It can provide an additional bridging time of 250ms at a power of 448W. In normal operation, the energy is stored in the electrolytic capacitors of the DBM20. If the mains voltage is interrupted for a short period of time, the DBM20 continues to supply power to the load, enabling a safe and controlled shutdown of the connected devices. The DBM20 can be set to two operating modes. In "fixed mode", it becomes active as soon as the input voltage drops to 22.4V, in "variable mode" already when the input voltage drops by 1V. Several buffer modules can be connected in parallel for longer bridging times. LEDs´s the front indicate the status. The device can also be monitored remotely via a DC-OK relay as well as via optocoupler signals. The of the DBM20 can be deactivated via an inhibit input. The DC link is actively discharged within 3-5 seconds.
