Automated switching of connected devices
Do you want your lights to turn on automatically at 8:00 p.m. and off again at 6:00 a.m.? No problem. Program switching times! You can easily enter the switching times on your smartphone or tablet. In total, you can program 12 switching times (either on or off) for the SEM8500. Each switching time can be programd once or with repetition (selection of the weekdays on which the switching time is repeated). Programming is also carried out if the paired end device is not in the WiFi connection!
Timer mode
Do you want the kids TV to turn off after 30 minutes or the fan to stay on for 20 minutes? Simply terminate the automatic switching off of the measuring device and thus also the connected consumer via smartphone.
Burglary protection included!
Especially during the holiday season one often asks himself the question how one can secure his home against break-ins. The Voltcraft® SEM8500 energy meter has an "anti-burglar mode" that switches on and off the lights or the TV in random mode. This way you can easily simulate your presence!
