Description
The VOLTCRAFT hand-held multimeter VC 131 is your robust entry-level device for many measurement tasks and replaces the extremely successful predecessors (VC-130 and VC-135). The device possesses an automatic range selection and can measure both direct and alternating voltages.
Only for current measurement this entry-level device is limited to the measurement of direct current.
Razor-sharp display
Impressive, clear EBTN display in Heller-environment as well as also when dark. With 5.6 cm (2.2 inch) display screen diagonal, all numbers and symbols are displayed much larger, thus avoiding measuring errors.
Display and keypad lock
Subtly incorporated edges protect the display, the rotary switch and all the keys.
An elaborately produced 2-component casing with integrated soft-rubber protection not only provides grip, but also protects the device during rough applications.
Anti-tipping
The broad bearing surface made of soft rubber provides much more stability when the stand is folded out.
Non-slip
Lying and standing with connected measuring leads - the measuring device remains in position. When stored without test leads, the rubberized edge protector prevents it from slipping even when the meter is lying on the display side.
Built-in torch
It's easier to find your way in the dark to the fuse box with the built-in LED light.
Contact-free voltage detection
An NCV sensor is integrated in the front of the casing. The electromagnetic field that occurs with a cable under voltage is detected. This allows you to find e.g. the position that would lead to an interruption in the case of a pinched extension cable. Through the insulation.
Removable protective caps
The measuring tips are protected against accidental contact. If necessary, a protective cap can be removed, in order to measure in luster terminals, for example.
Wear indicator of the measuring line
The leads feature two layers of insulation, each in a different colour. Damage to the first insulation layer reveals a different color insulation. Ideal for training devices, to change worn test leads early.
