An asymmetric audio signal is converted passively (without power supply) into a symmetric signal (double-executed in the device) by means of an audio transformer. In addition, a mono signal can be generated with a DIP switch from two input signals (stereo) (loss-free, because no resistors are coupled). The device can also be operated in the reverse direction, i.e. asymmetric signals can be generated from symmetrical signals. All you need is the optional XLR/XLR adapter MONACOR NA‑3FF.
