Thanks to the powerful diesel engine and the equipment for using the traction line, the locomotive can react flexibly to the traction requirements at any time.In cities and conurbations, the issue of environmental pollution is becoming increasingly important. The dual mode Vectron makes an important contribution to sustainable freight transport. The engines of MKB, Captrain, SETG and Northrail/paribus are currently being used. DB Cargo has ordered 146 Vectron dual mode in order to make transport more sustainable from 2023.
