Extensive equipment and safe to useThe VOLTCRAFT VC851 digital multimeter is designed for the measuring ranges CAT III 1000 V/CAT IV 600 V and with its 1000 V high-power fuses fulfills a high safety standard with all executable measurements. In addition to capacitance, resistance, temperature and frequency measurements, AC/DC voltage measurement and AC/DC current measurement up to 10 A are possible. The VC831 also has an acoustic continuity tester and enables a diode test. True RMS allows both pure sine signals and more complex non-sinusoidal signals to be measured. The LoZ measuring function is available for measuring direct and alternating voltages with low impedance and the VC831 has a duty cycle function for measuring the scanning rate.Practical additional functionsTo be able to read correct results in difficult to access measuring situations, the VOLTCRAFT multimeter has a hold function that freezes the measured value. Peak and low values can be recorded with the Min/Max function and the REL button allows the multimeter to be set to a reference value for which measurements can be made in relation. For all measurements, Auto-Range supports the intuitive handling of the VC831 by automatically selecting the display area.Clear and robustSo that the equipment is always well protected in demanding environments and fits perfectly in the hand, the robust housing has been provided with a soft-grip rubber protection. The clear 6000 count display makes it easier to analyze the measurement results. Not only the backlit display ensures the right overview: The VC831 can also be used as a torch in order to keep an eye on everything, even in poorly lit working environments. To ensure that there is always enough power in the batteries, the multimeter automatically switches off when not used for a long time and the low battery indicator reminds you of a timely recharging. The VOLTCRAFT VC831 digital multimeter is delivered with test leads, batteries and operating instructions. A temperature sensor with point contact is included in the delivery for temperature measurements.
