The roller shutter suspension connects the roller shutter tank with the roller shutter shaft and at the same time makes it difficult to push the shutter up from the outside. The suspension is designed for the mini roller shutter system and is therefore suitable for a roller shutter shaft with a diameter of 40 mm. It is not necessary to drill screws or for installation. The roller shutter suspension is simply inserted in the square hole of the roller shutter shaft and pushed onto the strip of the top roller shutter profile. A distance of about 50 cm between the individual suspensions should be maintained. Three roller shutter suspensions are included in the delivery, they are suitable for both manual and electric shutters.Schellenberg Tip: If a roller shutter motor is installed in your roller shutter, it is recommended to use a Schellenberg suspension clamp to avoid damaging the tubular motor due to the small distance between the motor and the roller shutter shaft. The roller shutter suspension is then suspended in the shaft clamp instead of directly in the roller shutter shaft.
