Overview
High thermal properties: 130°C CUTExcellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals such as automotive fluids, oils, gases, lubricants, Fully halogenated hydrocarbons, alcohols, acids and basesNon-hygroscopic, does not absorb moisture. No drying required!Inherently UV-resistant with very stable H-F bonds.Low smoke and flame properties with a V-0 rated base resinLong-term hydrolytic stabilityResistant to nuclear radiationVery good abrasion resistance – similar to nylon and UHMW-PE for applications with hohem wear
Description
FluoroX™ PVDF [polyvinylidene fluoride] is manufactured from Arkema Kynar®. PVDF is an excellent choice for applications requiring chemical resistance, high heat resistance and superior abrasion resistance. Kynar® is a registered trademark of Arkema.
Information
Extruder: Between 245 and 265°C, depending on the printer Some must reach up to 280°C.Heated bed 90 - 110 °C.Bed preparation: According to the manufacturer, Nano Polymer Adhesives provides the best results.Other: No or slow fan. Print at speeds of 40-60 mm/s as a good starting point.Drying instructions: PVDF does not absorb moisture and does not need to be dried!Safety note: This polymer begins to decompose and decompose at temperatures above 290 °C. Please keep your extruder temperature below this point to avoid degradation, output and loss of mechanical properties.
