The Homematic IP DALI gateway for DIN rail mounting reliably controls DALI lights directly from the distribution cabinet and intelligently integrates them into the Homematic IP Smart home system.With a DALI Gateway, up to 32 DALI lights – such as fluorescent lamps (DT0), discharge lamps (DT2), low voltage halogen lamps (DT3), incandescent bulb dimmer (DT4), conversion to DC (0-10V, DT5), LED modules (DT6), switching function (DT7) and color and color temperature control (DT8) – can be dimmed and switched perfectly. The DALI Gateway can easily be retrofitted into an existing installation with DALI lights and disappears in the distribution cabinet. Already installed Homematic IP buttons and switches can be used and integrated without any problem.Once installed, DALI lights can be searched and permanently assigned in the gateway. It can control up to 16 light groups. The lights can be switched as well as dimmed with many Homematic IP devices, like a Homematic IP wireless remote control. The free Homematic IP APP also Smart allows you to easily operate the DALI lights from your smartphone.The installation takes place on standard DIN rails in house and sub-distributions. The spring-loaded terminals make it easy to connect the DALI lights to both rigid and flexible cables. The large illuminated LCD display of the gateway allows the DALI lights to be controlled and tested directly after connection to the bus without learning. Setup can be set up either via the free smartphone app with free cloud service via the Homematic IP Access Point or the local CCU3 control unit. Alternatively, integration via numerous partner solutions is possible.
