The novelty of the Metz rotary ladder DLK 23/12 was not only favored by Mercedes-Benz, but the model builders also had a lot more detail from the ladder – including a removable rescue basket. After the models of the round and corner bonnet, as well as the first generation of front handlebars, were still from Ulm, Wiking omitted the relay cabin during the implementation of this miniature and instead created a generation of rotary conductors with the troop cab, which also represented a fire-fighting tactical rethinking in the German fire-brigades.
