Description

The gas alarm GX-HS is a gas detector for various gases and warns even at a gas concentration, which is far below the life-threatening value. This surveillance system is therefore set very sensitive in accordance with its purpose. A suitable sensor must be used for each type of gas.(For activation and minimum concentration, refer to the sensor's user manual).The alarm signal is visually and acoustically attached to the device (optionally an external buzzer/piezo alarm can be connected to the device). In addition, a potential-free relay is switched, for example to switch a magnetic shut-off valve (lock gas supply line) using the relay, so that no further gas can escape at a possible leak in the gas line or in the gas thermal lift and to operate a switching input in the building control system using a second relay / fault relay.Installation manualThe warning device and the sensor may only be installed in dry interiors and must be correctly positioned depending on the gas type, in order to ensure a faultless functioning of the warning device.The installation must be carried out by a qualified specialist.Please observe the five safety rules!Top hat DIN rail mountingThe gas alarm GX-HS is installed in distributions and switching cabinets on a standard 35 mm DIN rail (DIN rail).Sensor installationDepending on the type of connected sensor, the device will detect different gases, for example Town and natural gas (methane/butane), carbon monoxide and smoke or carbon dioxide.
