Most fires are caused by technical defects such as cable fire. Since the sense of smell falls asleep at night, most people only wake up when dense smoke makes orientation more difficult and the people concerned can no longer get themselves safe in time. Poisonous flue gases lead to unconsciousness after three breaths and to death within a short time.The photoelectric ABUS smoke detector is characterized by a very compact design. It detects even the smallest smoke particles and warns the residents early and effectively against a developing fire with a loud alarm. The detection range of the smoke detector is up to 40 m² in size and is limited to the room in which it is installed. Undesired alarms (e.g. through dust or water vapor) can be muted easily and uncomplicatedly by means of pressure on the large-area measuring button.
