Description
The speed and V-belt monitor is used to monitor rotational movement (underspeeds) on motor or belt-driven shafts. Inductive proximity switches are used to measure the speed. The impulse generation at the sensor is generated contact-free by switching cams, gears, segment discs, metallic signal flags or similar. The relay switches when connected to operating voltage. The monitoring function is started at terminals E1 and E2 via the power contactor of the drive after the start-up bypass has expired. If the drive falls below the shutdown speed, the relay drops. By resetting or switching off the operating voltage, the error message of the speed and V-belt monitor is reset.
