The testing device Genius offers the possibility of easy and professional installation, dismantling, functional testing and maintenance of the Genius smoke detector of all generations.Assembly (screw-in)/disassembly (unscrew)For mounting or Dismantling the smoke detector Genius aligns the Genius test device in the "Assembly" position using the test button. Afterwards, the Genius smoke detector can be set out from the floor, screwed in or screwed out into the socket.Adhesive pad mountingThe Genius test device can be used for installation with adhesive pad. For this purpose, the Genius smoke detector is inserted in the "Installation" position in the assembled position (smoke detector is screwed in) into the tester with adhesive pad already attached on one side to the base. The Genius can then be glued to the ceiling in one step with the tester from the floor.Test/Operational CheckThe Genius test device can also be used for tests or Operational checks of the Genius smoke detector. For this purpose, the testing device Genius is aligned in the "TEST" position via the test button, and then simply and reliably press the test button of the smoke detector from the ground.Diagnosis and maintenanceFor maintenance and diagnostics with the Genius Pro APP, the smartphone is attached to the smartphone holder on the tester. This allows the Genius Pro APP to perform the most reliable maintenance from the ground.
