"House Alarm" application:The radio button Genius supplements the radio smoke detector Genius Plus X/HX with radio module FM.Pro/Pro X and/or FM.Basis/Basis X by a manual alarm. In the event of a fire being detected at an early stage, the alarm can be alerted directly and manually by pressing a button. As such, persons can be warned much faster in case of danger.Application "Radio Interface":On the one hand the radio button can forward alarms to your own radio network via radio via the integrated interfaces, on the other hand it can transmit alarm and status messages to external devices and systems via wire from your own radio network. Alarm and status messages can be acknowledged locally and externally via the radio button Genius.Installation:As a manual alarm trigger, the Genius wireless button should be mounted on the wall in a clearly visible and freely accessible way, 1.4 m (±0.2 m) above the floor using the supplied attachment set. When used as a radio interface, the wireless button only has to be located in the wireless range of the smoke detector Genius Plus X/HX with radio modules FM.Pro/Pro X and/or FM.Basis/X.Wireless retrofit buttonThe integration into an existing Genius wireless system is possible at any time.Automatic on/offThe Genius wireless button automatically becomes active when the cover plate is inserted. When removing the cover plate, the hand-held button changes its operating mode, if the cover plate is reinserted by 180°, the Genius wireless button switches off automatically after 5 minutes.

Information
The wireless button requires an external power supply (10 - 30 V DC) for use of the inputs and relays (alarm and status relays). The built-in batteries are only used for internal operation.
