The Foscam V8EP is a PoE (power-over-Ethernet) 8 MP POE surveillance camera, which enables an easy installation. The camera can be used both during the day and at night and is weather-proof in order to withstand all weather conditions.
The camera is compatible with the Foscam NVR (network video recorder). This enables seamless integration into an existing monitoring system supported by the Foscam NVR.
With its high resolution of 8 megapixels, the Foscam V8EP offers clear and sharp images, which can record details and subtleties. The camera has advanced functions such as motion detection, detection of people and vehicles, email notifications and remote access via a mobile APP to ensure the monitoring is possible anytime and anywhere.
The advanced detection of people and vehicles in the Foscam V8EP 8 MP POE IP camera is a great feature that helps to minimize unwanted alarms and detect only real security risks. Focussing on the detection of persons and vehicles enables the surveillance camera to ignore the movements of branches, flying insects or other moving objects, which would otherwise lead to false alarms.
