The NetPeppers fiber optic cleaning kit is the perfect companion for anyone who installs, splits, measures or maintains glass fibers. Dirty fiber optic plug connectors are the most common reason for transmission problems in fiber optic systems in the PTT and campus areas, in building wiring or also in the wide area network. The cleaning kit contains everything, WAS you need, in order to clean your fiber optic system quickly and at low cost per cleaning. Both dry and wet cleaning components guarantee that any type of contamination such as oil or dust is reliably removed. Of course, you can order any cleaning tool supplied in the handy carrying case.
The contents of the fiber optic cleaning case were carefully selected, in order to offer the suitable tool in each situation. The proven NTT cleaning pins NEOCLEAN-F12 and NEOCLEAN-F25 with over 1000 cleaning cycles per pin are used for dry cleaning of common fiber optic sockets and connectors such as LC, SC, ST, FC, E2000 etc. For intensive wet cleaning of plugs with 1.25 and 2.5 mm ferrule, the Chemtronics QBE2 cleaning platform is used in conjunction with the NetPeppers fiber optic cleaner. The cleaning tool is suitable for both straight-ground (UPC) and angular (APC) connectors. Chemtronics FSA50 wet wipes are used to remove rough soiling on connectors, but also to clean fiber optic cables before the purge process, the fusion splicing or the connector assembly.
