Description
The 8 analogue inputs and 8 analogue outputs can be connected via the 28-pole terminal strip on the front of the module. The inputs as well as the outputs work with 0 - 10 V. Variable switching thresholds enable the analogue inputs to behave like digital inputs. The switching thresholds can be set for each channel. Each analogue input is designed a high-ohm with a 100-kΩ-input resistance and possesses a hardware filter with a limiting frequency of 1.5 kHz. In addition, each input is protected against ESD pulses with a protective diode. The analog outputs can also be configured to output a constant, predefined voltage. This makes it possible to use the analogue outputs like digital outputs and use logic level up to 10 V. In addition to its analogue inputs or Outputs, the RevPi MIO also has 4 digital channels. Each channel can be configured via the Revolution Pi configuration tool PiCtory either as digital input or as digital output. In addition, the following operating modes can be set: PWM input, pulse measurement, GPI 24 V, PWM output, pulse output & GPO 24 V level output. The digital inputs / outputs are connected via the 4-pin plug above.
