The F-compression plugs are suitable for coaxial cables with a diameter of up to 7mm. Compared to standard F-plugs, compression plugs offer a more stable grip, better shielding, better protection and are less susceptible to maintenance, which is why they are the first choice for large and professional systems. Like the standard F-plugs the compression plugs are not screwed or crimped by hand, but instead they are compressed all around the cable with a special tool (compression pliers). By the compression method, the entire surface of the shielding layer is pressed against the inner side of the plug WAS for an ideal shielding, a low signal attenuation, a high return flow attenuation and a better electrical contact is ensured. For a perfect result, please only use compression pliers compatible with the connectors.
