This copper brown metallic always appeared in the advertising. Most of the time, the Ford Capri I presented itself in the light of the sunset. In fact, Capri I shaped the coupe's understanding of the 1970s: A sporty ambience and yet enough space for the passengers on the rear bench The model was produced from 1969 to 1972 and can undoubtedly be classified in the very individual section of those sporty coupes, which defined the "new sportiness" in the European automobile industry at the turn of the 1960s/70s.
