The BeagleBoard.org BeaglePlay is an open source single board computer that makes adding sensors, actuators, displays, human interfaces and connectivity to a reliable embedded system as easy as possible.
WAS makes Beagle Play great?
BeaglePlay features a powerful 64-bit quad-core processor and a range of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, sub-GHz wireless, and single-pair Ethernet with Power over Data Line.
It is compatible with 1,000 off-the-shelf add-ons and a custom Debian Linux image. BeaglePlay aims to facilitate expansion and adaptation.
WAS can still do Beagle Play?
It also includes ribbon cable connections for cameras and touch screen displays, a socket for a battery-powered real-time clock that makes BeaglePlay perfect for human-machine interface designs.
