The active LINDY DisplayPort to HDMI adapter cable allows an 8K@60Hz HDMI display or projector to be connected to a device with DisplayPort output. This active cable converts single and dual mode DisplayPort output signals to increase compatibility with most graphics cards.
The cable supports resolutions of up to 780x4320@60Hz or 4096 x 2160@120Hz as well as High Dynamic Range (HDR), so that the 8K content is played with crystal-clear quality, improved contrast and natural colors - perfect for striking displays in the trade, an innovative working environment or an intensive video experience in sports bars or in the home cinema. Uncompressed multi-channel audio enables the background work with impressive 3D-Surround-Sound.
It also supports the AMD Eyefinity technology and thus offers a cost-effective possibility of generating a non-standardized aspect ratio or of creating an Ultra HD video wall comprising of 3 or more monitors. This technology also allows the simultaneous operation of several applications on different screens and thus increases the productivity. The DP- on HDMI-cable is available in lengths up to 3M.
Please note that audio output via HDMI is only supported when the graphics card of the laptop or PCs support audio output via DisplayPort. In such cases, a separate audio connection must be set up.
Please note that some of the new Nvidia drivers do not work correctly with 8K@60Hz 4:4:4 when converting from DP/miniDP to HDMI. Only 8K@60Hz 4:2:2 resolution can be achieved.
