The unnecessary standby power consumption of many electric devices of daily life is estimated in Germany alone to over 20 billion kWh. In the case of a normal household, approximately 10 to 20 % of the total consumption can be entered into this account.
The time-controlled socket countdown timer AES1.3 disconnects the connected consumers (e.g. fan heater, iron, pumps, printer, copier, coffee machines and many other energy consumers) after a preset operating time (15 min. - 6 hours) automatically from the mains. This not only protects the environment but also saves money.
Operation is very simple: With one button the remaining operating time can be set. You can select between 15 min./30 min./1 hrs./2 hrs./4 hrs./6 hrs. The repeat button resets the previously selected program at the same time on the next day on the HER with the push of a button. The On/Off button switches the socket manually without time program. At a maximum capacity of 3680 W/16 A, this corresponds to the full output of a common 230-V socket in households.
