Description

The screen developed by the Raspberry Pi® Foundation is compatible with the Raspberry 2B, Raspberry B+ and A+ and can be used as a visual display. The adapter board is connected via the DSI display connector of the Raspberry Pi® and performs power and signal conversion. In addition to an on-screen keyboard, the latest Raspbian operating system also incorporates touchscreen drivers that enable operation with up to ten fingers, so that full functionality is also possible without a mouse or keyboard. With the Raspberry Pi® and a Python script developed in-house, users can build home automation devices with touch screens.

- 17.8 cm (7 inch) Touchscreen display
- Adapter board
- DSI ribbon cable
- 4 spacers and screws for mounting the adapter board and Raspberry Pi® board on the back of the display
- 4 wires to connect the power supply of the adapter board to the GPIOS pins on the Pi, so that both units can use 2A
The screen dimensions are 194 mm x 110 mm x 20 mm, the visible screen size is 155 mm x 86 mm and the resolution is 800 x 480 pixels.
