The Thermal Grizzly Mykro Direct-The CPU water cooler RGB for socket AM5
The AM5 Mycro Direct-The RGB is a water cooler for AMD's Ryzen-7000 processors, which lies directly on the chipsets of a delidedous (heads) CPU. Made from nickel-plated copper the Direct-Die-water cooler offers an excellent heat conductivity. This is further enhanced by an optimized structure of the microfins on the top. In addition, direct cooling compared to a normal water cooling eliminates the need for a layer of heat conductive agents as well as the heat spreader of the CPU. This significantly improves the heat transfer from the CPU to the water cooling circuit.
Optically, the AM5 Mycroc Direct-The RGB offers a stylish appearance. On the nickel-plated base plate is a Block made of acrylic glass, which is subjected to a temperature process after milling. The temperature process releases the acrylic glass from internal superficial stresses. This ensures that no stress cracks appear in the acrylic glass even after a long service life.
Powerful CPU water block with RGB lighting
On this, a cover made of anodized aluminum is attached magnetically. 13 RGB LEDs integrated into the lid illuminate the side acrylic glass and the G1/4-inch thread, whereby the lid can be mounted in such a way that the RGB connection cable can be laid up or down. The connection of the RGB lighting takes place via a 3-pin ARGB header (+5V/DATA/GND).
The nickel-plated surface of the AM5 Mycro Direct-RGB is compatible with traditional thermal pastes and gallium-based liquid metals. The nickel forms a barrier layer between the liquid metal and the copper cooler, so that liquid metal is not diffused into the copper and alloy formation is minimized. As a result, it is not usually necessary to apply liquid metal several times.
For a system that is as maintenance-free as possible, a CryoSheet graph thermal pad can be used as a thermal interface between the CPU and the AM5 Mycroro Direct-RGB. As KryoSheet pads are electrically conductive, a cover for the protection of the electronic components is included in the CPU package.
