The performance of the non-destructive material inspection system must be checked regularly to ensure inspection quality and reliability. This test includes both the intensity of the UV-A radiation and the illumination strength. The observation conditions for this test procedure are described in DIN EN ISO 3059, which contains the minimum illumination level and the UV-A radiation strength and its measurement. A calibration interval according to the manufacturer's specifications is also required, but at least every 12 months and the documentation must be carried out by means of a calibration certificate.
