Description

The Edimax GP-101IT is a PoE injector that is not only a cost-effective solution for power distribution, but can also be smoothly integrated into the existing LAN infrastructure. Power and data of up to 30W coming from a switch or router without PoE function are combined by means of current injectors and then transferred to IEEE 802.3at/af-compliant products, for example to PoE cameras, via Ethernet cabling. This saves high investments in new hardware as no additional PoE switches have to be purchased.

By adding the IEEE 802.3at/af PoE function to a switch or router without PoE Ethernet function, the GP-101IT can be connected directly to any IEEE 802.3at/af-compliant end node, for example.B. PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) network cameras, PTZ speed domes, Voice over IP (VoIP) phones with color touch screen or multichannel WLAN access points that support the PoE standards IEEE 802.3at/af.

More cost efficiency and easy installation
With PoE technology, both data and power are transmitted over a single Ethernet cable. With the GP-101IT there is no additional effort for laying cables and no extension cables are needed to reach wall sockets or other hard-to-reach places. This reduces installation costs and makes commissioning a lot easier.
