Water sensor WS5030-10 for WPS 3000/3000 plus V2 gray
Length: 10 meters
The water sensor WS 5030-10 is suitable in combination with the H-Tronic water level switch WPS3000 (article no. 1 11 44 55) and the WPS 3000plus (article no. 1 11 46 20) for the automatic level monitoring of conductive liquids in containers, wells, basements etc. The metal sensors made of stainless steel are cast into a plastic housing. The measurement sensor with a 10 meter long PVC connecting cable is only intended for detecting conductive liquids in non-aggressive media.
Probe cast in plastic casing (for conducting liquids)
Robust sensor for durable use under water
Special features: The measuring electrodes are resistant to chlorine and salt water (stainless steel AISI 316 / V4A)
Connection cable 10 m PVC cable with RJ45 plug
H-Tronic water level switches and water sensors work in conjunction with conductive liquids.
Water is not the same as water, depending on the salts dissolved in it or Ions, water can be more or less conductive. An adequate conductivity of the liquid to be measured is important for the proper functioning of the water sensors.
Tap water, salt water or contaminated water are good conductive liquids. Osmosis water, distilled water or pure rain water are poorly conductive liquids and may therefore not be suitable for water sensors.
Especially in the case of rain water, the function of the water sensor may be alternating, since the conductivity of rain water is subject to strong fluctuations due to environmental influences.
If you want to use a water level switch for poorly conductive liquids, we recommend that you use a mechanical float switch from our assortment instead of a water sensor.
