Description

The Homematic IP motion detector with switching actuator – externally monitors the outdoor area and switches on light when motion is detected or reports an alarm. The device features three individually configurable motion detection zones for exact and complete detection without fault switching. The powerful detection range of up to 20 m and the detection angle of 180° enable a reliable and intelligent monitoring of the external area.

Installation
The Homematic IP motion detector with switching actuator – with the weather-proof housing (IP44) and the wide temperature range of -20 to +55 °C it can be flexibly mounted outdoors. Thanks to the 230 V power supply, no battery operation is required.

Fail-safe
An alarm can also be triggered when the internet connection is inactive, because Homematic IP smart home devices communicate directly with each other.

twilight sensor
The built-in light sensor reports the brightness value of the detected outdoor area to the Homematic IP APP. Thus optionally integrated outdoor lights can be switched on and off automatically.

Smart highlight
The switching actuator of the motion detector makes possible for example. The linking to other Homematic IP motion detectors to improve coverage of the monitoring area. Moreover, multiple actuators can be switched simultaneously by engaging the device in switch groups when motion is detected.
